The legislative decree amended Italian environmental law in the following areas: packaging labeling for environmental reasons; the circular economy; and the expanded liability of producers for the trash they produce, waste management, and transportation.
According to the revised standards for packaging's environmental labeling, packaging must now include mandatory labels.
